Hydrocarbon Specific Bilge Socks and pillows These Hydrocarbon specific socks and pillows provide rapid and economical clean-up of hydrocarbon spills. They are designed to absorb oil / fuel spills from land or water.

Applications
• Removing hydrocarbons from water in hard to reach places
such as drains, industrial sumps, bilges and holding tanks.
• Blocking drainage holes and side entry drains in emergency spill events.

Features
• Will continue to float even when reached capacity of absorption
• Has a very high absorption to weight ratio
• Will absorb hydrocarbons off water and in wet conditions

Limitations
• These pads are made from synthetic material which does not readily biodegrade
• Will not absorb aqueous liquids or emulsions
