Premium Bio Active Organic Absorbent Premium Bio Active Organic Absorbent is a highly absorbent vegetable fibre which is capable of absorbing over 5 times it’s own weight in hydrocarbon or water based liquids. This is the most economical absorbent and competes successfully with other low cost absorbents such as "kitty litter". Premium Bio Active Organic Absorbent has a higher absorption capacity and a lower bulk density which makes it very economical to use along with the added capacity to remediate hydrocarbon spills. Premium Bio Active Organic Absorbent contains micro-organisms which eat hydrocarbons. This simplifies disposal as the spent absorbent soon turns to compost destroying the hydrocarbons in the process.
