Bio Active Organic Booms Bio Active Organic Absorbent Booms have a higher absorption capacity and a lower bulk density which makes it very economical to use along with the added capacity to remediate hydrocarbon spills. Bio Active Organic Absorbent Booms contains micro-organisms which eat hydrocarbons. This simplifies disposal as the spent absorbent soon turns to compost destroying the hydrocarbons in the process. The Booms are 75mm in diameter and are available in either 1.5m or 3m lengths.
