Hydrocarbon Booms The booms are 75mm in diameter and are available in either 1.2m or 3m lengths. They are hydrocarbon specific and are designed for use on land in wet conditions or when an organic boom is not appropriate. They can be located around or in drains or where a mixture of oil / fuel and water is present on land. Each boom has excellent capacity and passes TCLP Leachate testing for land fill disposal purposes. These booms are incorporated in the ASK 240 OIL Spill Response Kit and are a vital asset in wet, land based spills.

• Will absorb hydrocarbon liquids off water or in rainy conditions

Limitations
• Will not absorb aqueous liquids or emulsions
